Minimum Wage Increase: July 1, 2019

Employers in the City of Los Angeles and unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County are getting ready for another hike in the minimum wage. On July 1st, the rate in those areas will increase by $1.00/hour.

While the California state minimum wage will remain at $12.00 per hour, employers in the City of Los Angeles and Los Angeles County who have 25 or fewer employees will be mandated to pay $13.25/hour after July 1st. Employers with 26 or more employees in those same areas will move to a minimum of $14.25/hour.
