Robert Braun, Partner, Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP - Robert Braun, a partner in JMBM's Corporate Group, specializes in corporate, finance and securities law, with an emphasis on technology and information-oriented firms. Mr. Braun's practice includes establishment and development of strategies to implement computer software, computer hardware, communications and e-commerce solutions, as well as public and private securities offerings; mergers and acquisitions; venture capital financing; and joint ventures. Anna Winningham & Andy Cuthbert, Risk Control Strategies 

Risk Control Strategies (RCS) is a premier consulting and investigations firm specializing in threat management, risk assessments, and providing security solutions for corporations and the high net worth community.

Anna Winningham, VP of Operations, Risk Control Strategies - Ms. Winningham joined Risk Control Strategies after serving the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a Special Agent for 13 years. In her last assignment with the FBI, Ms. Winningham was the Supervisory Special Agent for the Crisis Response Squad of the Los Angeles Field Office. Her responsibilities included oversight and management of the Evidence Response Team, the Crisis Negotiations Team, the Special Weapons and Tactics Team, and the Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) response (which included all operational WMD components).

During her career with the FBI, Ms. Winningham developed an expertise in strategic planning, crisis resolution, and tactical response of comprehensive security and crisis management operations worldwide. She has supervised multiple operational deployments of FBI resources, including overseas operations to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kosovo, the Philippine Islands, Indonesia and Greece. She established and managed the FBI command post during the 9/11 terrorism investigation. She has managed critical incidents, planned and coordinated protection details for U.S. Government officials, supervised tactical operations in response to numerous kidnappings and extortion matters, and coordinated the FBI response to multiple special events.

Ms. Winningham has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas – El Paso, where she specialized in Soviet and East European Politics. She is a Russian speaker, and attended the Russian School at Middlebury College, Vermont. She also served in the U.S. Army as an Ordnance Officer and was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division for several years. Ms. Winningham brings over 17 years of operational experience in crisis resolution and threat management. She is a valuable resource to corporate as well as private clients serviced by Risk Control Strategies.

Andy Cuthbert, Director of Cyber Security, Risk Control Strategies - Andy Cuthbert joined Risk Control Strategies as Director of Cyber Security with 16 years of experience as an IT security professional. He has a diverse background in IT direct support, troubleshooting, and network administration of complex networks with a global footprint. Mr. Cuthbert was assigned as a network administrator at Medlock Communications, a cutting-edge telecommunications company in the UK.

In 1998 Mr. Cuthbert moved to Los Angeles, where he worked as the senior network administrator for a wide range of corporations in his role as an IT consultant with a privately held IT services company. In this role he provided IT security services, to include incident response, data recovery and business continuity services to his corporate clients. Mr. Cuthbert is skilled in network diagnostics, computer forensics, mobile forensics, and IT security audit practices. Based upon his diverse experience, he is able to communicate and interact with clients effectively and efficiently, providing expert solutions to meet their specific needs. 

Since joining RCS Mr. Cuthbert has worked on a variety of complex investigations, successfully discovering pertinent evidence as a result of careful forensic analysis. Mr. Cuthbert attended undergraduate studies at Manchester Metropolitan University. He is currently on path for his CISSP as well as his GIAC certifications.

David Hallstrom, Technology Underwriting Director, CNA Insurance - David Hallstrom serves as Technology Underwriting Director for CNA. In this position, David is responsible for developing the Technology and e-Business in the U.S. Midwest region. David brings to this position over a dozen years experience in technology, cyber and information risk.

Mr. Hallstom is an expert on CNA's NetProtect family of products. These include NetProtect 360 which offers first-party coverage for extortion, business interuption, loss or damage to a network, extra expense and e-theft. It also covers third-party liability for electronic media content, privacy liability and security liability.
